To be fair the other one is quite old and burried... Furthermore I don't see the player around at all, but mine's still SOMEWHAT of a duplicate-- Although different since it includes other features.
CM was obviously inspired by Starcraft: Ghost opening. At least when marines takes too long to deploy.

I just thought of something interesting: Facehugger mask.

You take the spore glands from a facehugger and modify your own mask to make it hugger-proof.
Either requires periodic re-crafting or becomes permanent which allows you to become a nightmare against xenos.

Optionally, in exchange for this, your mask is slightly weakened and falls off much more.
Otherwise, xenos may just start picking you off with much more hatred and harm intent.

I don't like the idea of this. Why go after marines when you can just kill xenos and get sick loot? For a (imo dumb) role that can change the tides of battle fairly easily, I don't think we should encourage the pred to attack one side only.
-1, maybe neutral if you add loot from marines to the crafting, but even then I feel this is the one thing pred hasn't really needed. He has all the tools to kill/hunt he needs.

Beeeecause you can get sick loot from marines too? I mean, most of the marine stuff doesn't need to be crafted, they have a plethora of weapons.

I think I see... Cool... Okay, but you KNOW they're be powergaming cuck preds who only target the xenos because they have cooler loot.

If we could somehow balance that out, I don't know. Maybe marines give armor, more defensive stuff, and Xenos give sharp teeth and claws, offensive stuff.

Either way, neutral.

There's a rule 'bout not just rushing the hunt into extinction by over-hunting a side. Personally I just wait for people to attack me and kill them, especially **ing spitters and their attempt at damaging me.

If the crafting is exclusive to the yautja, surely they wouldn't care about the needs of the researchers? Perhaps there could be a change to the code of honour that they can't take the trophies of humans either so that they don't steal from the marines.

I presume we Predators don't steal any trophies for it is indeed against our honorcode, stealing or claiming another hunter's trophy or kill. I reckon, if a marine stole a say predator's kill, I'd think it be a tad different or equipment then we would have to take it unless it was gifted.

We don't steal trophies, and we don't let anyone steal ours. Predators only take trophies of their kills, so the marines will have their own pool of bodies to use.

Kill and make your own effigies. Stealing a body from the marines is like stealing your fellow hunter's trophy. It's extremely dishonourable and even in AvP they showcase the hunter rewarding the human for their hunt and gifting them weapons and the carcass for their proper hunting abilities.

Also, small note here. Deconstructing those effigies and human body warnings could also be something worth of interest. Although humans doing so would automatically become prey for tempering with the hunter's hunt (And I would see a lot of humans just starting to break the entire setup of effigies just to mess with preds). Just an idea like that.

I think the New update about the researcher's crafting tab is a bit too small and not fair.
TBH i like speed even if with no armor, the chitin plates slow THE FUCK outta you, and the anti acid spray is dank but doesn't protect from acid spits(I think)
I recommend adding more crafting to the marine's table like an advanced machete with more damage or AP bullets made outta Ravager's claws that deal double damage the normal ammo, or a Crusher's riot shield(It's okay if it slows you down but at least it can protect HEAVILY from acid spits and CAN block pounces).

Wrong thread? Predators shouldn't really become dedicated crafters for the marines.
