Vbald question but whats the difference between healing suffocation damage and oxygen damage?
  • Maniacal_Pineapple38 minutes ago
Just asking not really playing or going to play in the near 10 or so hours
  • Robotonic36 minutes ago
Oxygen damage is just oxygen damage, suffocation is what's causing it most of the time. Going into deep critical causes suffocation, which is why inaprovaline is so handy.
  • Papa_Pollard34 minutes ago
So i'll need to heal suffocation damage prior to oxygen otherwise they'll keep getting oxygen damage?
  • Trollbomber34 minutes ago
What the fuck is going on on the server?
  • IMVader33 minutes ago
Oxygen damage can be caused by organ damage (lungs or heart, stabilize with peridaxon), lack of blood or lack of oxygen in the place (smoke grenades, air flushed out, you won't usually see this happening in CM).

There is no 'suffocation damage'. There are causes that cause oxygen damage. If it's organ damage you can stabilize with peridaxon, dexalin (plus) and/or a stasis bag, and they'll need surgery. If it's lack of blood, stabilize with dex plus if too severe and fix with a blood transfusion or feeding them iron, sugar and/or nutriment.

Https://gyazo.com/2a9720e20cc98679e96f0519a8ec44c6 , this is what threw me off I wasn't sure what it meant
  • IMVader26 minutes ago
It means it heals oxygen damage. Which, unlike the other kinds of damage, is usually a sign that something else is wrong when stable or increasing. Suffocation and oxygen damage are being used interchangeably there, though the cause is not always suffocation.
  • El Defaultio25 minutes ago
I'll edit that on the wiki.
