Steps to reproduce:
1. Overdose someone with artificial limbs (say with Peridaxon)
2. Watch their mechanical arms that feature no exposure to the blood supply whatsoever and don't have any metabolic processes take brute damage.
I think it's pretty apparent that robotic limbs should not be subject to damage from overdose and chems in general (at least non-acidic chems, and chems in the blood stream because they don't circulate to the robolimbs).
