I've started this tedious thing called 'spriting' because I find it interesting, I usually do it on my spare time and doesn't take me that much (I do them pretty simple) so this is my very first attempt at spriting, tell me what you think.

Now that I'm posting it, I realize I should have used the same color for the cammo both on the uniform and the armor because the color I used on the armor is barely visible.



I'll be adding new stuff here from time to time.

Shoulder light is difficult to represent because it's so small. You're really limited in what you can do for it, so I don't mind his shoulder lamp at all.

I think it just needs to be moved up one and maybe towards the body one as well.

Lookin cool man. Move shoulder light closer to the body and round out the helmet on the east/west.

Making the shoulder light was so difficult, at one point I was thinking of not adding it but eh..

Here's the one I made today. At first, tried to make it like in the AvP games but Dream Maker is very limited when it comes to certain textures so I had to start from zero a lot of times (also I fucked up many times trying to convert the sprite to work outside of Dream Maker, I need some guidance with that)

I missed some details on the rest of the mugshots compared with the frontal shot, Gotta pay more attention.

Looking good so far. One question though, are you doing this at 32x32 and resizing or doing it at a larger size? As for your issue with converting the sprite to work outside of DM, I always just copy it and rename it from .dmi to .png then edit as necessary. Seems to work fine.

I make the sprite on DM so it's 32x32 by default, then, I copy the sprite and paste it on Paint then adjust the size to upload it here.

I tried to work outside of DM by doing a copy/paste from DM to paint and saving the sprite as .png, problem is, as soon I rename the sprite to .dmi so I can work again with it in DM it gets fucked up, the textures, the background, everything.

Try graphics gale and then just import the .pngs to DM instead.

Thank you all for the support, I'm very motived to keep spriting, I'm gonna draw a bunch of sprites I have in mind and then release it in one big update, thanks for the reviews.

My PC's power processor died a few days ago, fried, death, rip. Sadly, the work that I was doing there is, for now, frozen. So I'm starting from zero from my GF's laptop and isn't that easy, specially when your free time means shit recently. But here, I made these thinking in prison station:

Necromorph class 3: Hunter and Necromorph class 1: Standard.

I think it has to be whiter, and the head a little more rounded?
If you ever do a pov of the side, make sure to add the pointed head as well.
