Colonial Marines Character:James 'Patch' Alfonse

Timezone: GMT+0

On average, how many hours are you available per week to moderate? around 20-30

Do you have any previous experience in being staff (not just SS13)? no.

Did you play any of the previous Colonial Marine servers? no.

What other servers do you play on? i used to play on Aurora

What are the 3 biggest servers you play on besides CM? Aurora, and i dont remember playing any others.

Have you had an application to Colonial Marines before? no

Are you currently a staff member elsewhere (not just SS13)? If so, where? no

Have you ever been banned for more than 24 hours on Colonial Marines? no

Have you ever been banned for more than 24 hours on ANY server? If so, where and When (roughly)? I belive i may have been banned once on aurora for 24 hours, for experimenting as an engineer, to find out if heat breaks glass (it does) and it lead to me being harmed.

Common Staff Situations:
Write a description of what you would do in each situation (BELOW) the situation. If you start it on the same line, I'll assume you can't follow directions and auto-decline your application.

1. A player is firing his weapon in the briefing area near the start of the round.
Sleep, ask them why, tell them to stop, Warn, note.

2. The Sulaco has a breach to space.
Grief caused, fix it, find who did it,
rasp/pod caused, leave it.

3. The marines want the nuke codes because they claim they are losing too many marines. There are currently 4 aliens and 20 marines in your /who.
firstly, establish which are actual marines, and not doctors/MT's etc. then, via a high command message, inform them of the amount of combat capable staff, and a rough estimate (probably lowball it) of the aliens left.
Also mods cant give nuke codes.

4. A Sulaco researcher has made several napalm grenades and hands them out to marines. One of the marines throws the grenade into Logistics. There are no admins or other moderators online.
3 hour ban and a note for researcher, gives them time to consider who to not give grenades out to.
Marine who threw grenade, establish situation, hostiles in req? if not, Aheal any injured by the grenade, sleep marine, question as to why, Note, and a temp ban.

5. A played is starting to talk about the things he did with your mom last night over Ahelp.
Ignore it, if it continues, tell them to stop, and add a note, if it continues then, i belive, mute ahelps from that player if i can, if not, temp ban

6. You notice a marine with a name that doesn't fit our naming rules.
Politely ask them to change their name, add a note.

6a. The marine is arguing that: They've used the name for several years, noone has told them to change it before, and that they didn't know it was a rule.
Politely ask them to change their name, and if it is the case that they have used it for several years, they are more than welcome to appeal it on the forums.

7. You see a Sulaco Doctor with an M41A rifle strapped to his back running around the briefing area. There are wounded in medbay, and the other doctor is in surgery.
tell the doctor to drop the weapon, and get back to medical asap, add a note.

8. You see a Squad Medic performing surgery on the planet. He claims it was because there were no doctors in the FOB.
Inform the medic that they have to cease immediatly, and close the patient. add a note.

9. The round is stagnating. There are 30 marines and 4 aliens. The marines won't leave the Sulaco, and the aliens won't attack. What would you do, to "encourage" the sides to engage each other?
get the aliens to launch via the rasp, by sending a queen mother annoncement, saying something along the lines of avenge your fallen bretheren, if this does not work, send a message via high command to bridge, asking why the hell marines are on station, and the op is complete, with less than 5 signatures left.

10. The round ends, and a marine starts unloading his weapons on other marines.
3 hour ban, note for EORG.

11. A marine who has recently awoken is using soap to slip other marines.
delete the soap.

12. A marine has killed another marine. When you ask him why, he said it was because the other marine had punched him.
Temp ban and a note for improper escalation.

WO first ever round -- only doctor.
WOv2 - First ever CO to survive more than 30 minutes, thanks to the help of bravo, charlie, delta, and flex the madman who killed at least 30 using an MG turret and an epic bombardment

This is lazy, fairly wrong in many places, and your history speaks for itself. Absolutely not. -1

It took me less than a minute to read through this entire application, and I think that accurately sums up why I can't support this. Gonna have to -1 for the lack of effort, and the, recent behaviour.
I play Garth Pawolski; mostly just dead guy.

Predator: Nracha-dte Kv'var-de (Relentless Hunter).
